Manufacturer of this drug is Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co and the active ingredient in it is aripiprazole and being sold all over the world with brand names of Abilify, Abilify Discmelt. It is an antipsychotic drug. It is used to change in the chemicals released in brain and by brain to change the pattern of behavior in the person. These patterns usually are the symptoms of schizophrenia and bipolar disorders which is also called manic depression. It is also combined with other drugs to treat similar disorders and diseases quite effectively and widely all over the world. Basically it is a very classical and potentially dangerous drug to use. Can affect whole of the person with immediate intake and the personality is changed all together. It is available in the market with two potencies. one is blue and is of 5 mg and other is pink in color and of 10 mg potency

I have been given the abilify because of high blood pressure. I begun to develop the pain in my ankle and pain in my left side when I begun to take the medicine. The doctor advised to use metoprolol, the pain disappeared, however it reappeared when I begun to use abilify again. Regardless of this problem, I am happy with the medicine, it has been able to control my heart rate and it works well by controlling high blood pressure. About the pain I think blood pressure is more important. So this medicine is right choice for me
The doctor has prescribed for me abilify for high blood pressure. I took the medicine for around 2 years and the problem I had is not be able to push my cardio work out higher. I changed the drug to Coreg CR and I begun to feel cloudy and I begun to feel as if a rubber band was put around my chest. I am now using Bystolic, but the problem, I am facing is that my arms fall on my chest at night. I am contemplating to use again the Abilify in case my problem does not get better in few days. In addition of this I was still happy with what I was achieving with my cardio exercises.
The doctor had put me on this drug because of high blood pressure. I am on this medicine for 2 years by now and I felt wonderful since the first day I begun to use it. Am not having any side effects for taking this medicine. Its working wonderfully and giving me relief of blood pressure. I am very happy with my doctor’s decision about giving me this medicine. As he make me well. I hope also in further I can continue with this medicine and I will have no problem to continue with it to maintain my blood pressure
I was quite worried because of high blood pressure, and was going through this since i was 25. now i am 35 and i tried to manage it. some times, i was able enough to manage it but sometimes, it got out of my control. thanks to my doctor who recommnended me abilify and it controlled the blood pressure. now i lead a calm and peaceful life and m no more worried about this blood pressure thing. i started it’s use three years back and have found and experienced it;s wonderful results. as far as side feects are concerned, i ve not experienced many.
