The generic name of this drug is furomide and this drug is in the market with the name of Lasix. This drug is used to control blood pressure, edema and very effective to avoid the chance of heart attacks or heart failures, failure of kidney and pulmonary edema as well

• Most of the time hepatic encephalopathy in patients with hepatocellular insufficiency can be  seen
• Pancreatitis is quite common side effect
